Just yesterday the Alpha Zeta chapter held its first annual philanthropy, Theta Xi Ultimate! Several sorority teams came out and participated in this single-elimination ultimate frisbee tournament, with the ladies of Alpha Delta Pi coming out on top. Congratulations to them, and also to Alpha Chi Omega and Delta Delta Delta for coming in second and third place, respectively! And of course, thanks once again to everyone who came out and supported our stand against multiple sclerosis.
Our chapter is proud to have been partnered with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society for this event, which will serve as the kick off for our fundraiser to support victims of multiple sclerosis and their families. Over 2.5 million people worldwide live with this unpredictable disease and although the symptoms of MS are different for everyone, the only certainty is that it will affect yet another person every hour of every day.
We will be accepting donations via the National MS Society’s website until June 13. If you are interested in supporting this extremely worthy cause, please visit http://bit.ly/1onBtTs to contribute! Even one dollar can go a long way towards reaching our chapter’s $10,000 goal. The money that is raised will be used to research, treat, and ultimately cure multiple sclerosis.
Thank you for your support!
