We’re participating in UCLA’s Dance Marathon once again this year! Over 30 brothers and friends of Theta Xi have committed to staying on their feet for 26 hours straight on February 16th-17th, 2013 in an effort to represent the mental, physical, and emotional challenges faced by children living with HIV. Our dancers will spend the 26-hour marathon dancing, playing games and activities, making crafts, watching live bands and performers, and best of all, listening to HIV-positive children share their brave and heartwarming stories.
We at Theta Xi are proud to continue our strong tradition of philanthropy by participating in the Dance Marathon, the largest philanthropic event on the west coast. This year, our goal is to become the top-fundraising fraternity… but to do that we need your help! Each of our dancers must raise at least $250 just to participate, and just a few of them have reached that threshold. If you are at all interested in making a donation to our team or to one of our dancers in particular, don’t hesitate: our team’s page can be found here. It truly is for a worthy cause and we would be incredibly grateful for your support. In addition to being tax-deductible, all donations help us provide hope to so many children, women, and families around the world.
